Instead of paying for fixed limits, usage-based pricing adjusts based on your actual needs:
- Sales orders: Billed based on the number of sales orders delivered, with a lower per-unit cost as you deliver more.
- Locations: You are charged for each additional location required beyond the 1 included in Core, with lower per-location costs as you add more.
- Add-ons: Only pay for add-ons you need.

Yes. Because pricing is based on actual usage, you won’t overpay during slower months and you’ll only scale costs when your order volume increases.

- Annual billing allows you to lock in a predictable price for the year. This includes a small premium because Katana absorbs the risk of usage fluctuations.
If your usage exceeds your estimate by more than 20%, we’ll work with you to renegotiate your plan to ensure it continues to match your business needs.
The Free plan includes all of Katana’s core manufacturing features within a 30 SKUs limit:

- For ecommerce integrations, only Shopify is available at the moment but others are being considered to be included in the Free plan.
During the 15-day grace period, you can work with an unlimited number of SKUs. However, if your SKU list exceeds the limit of 30, once the grace period ends you will need to either reduce the count or contact our team to explore upgrade options.
The Free plan is perfect for testing the system, onboarding with a sample product catalog, or running lightweight workflows.
By default, this pricing applies to new customers only. Existing customers will remain on their current plan unless they specifically request to move to the new pricing by contacting their Customer Success manager.
