Bulk import past sales orders, including Shopify exports, to power forecasting and analytics without affecting live stock.
Overview
This tool imports historical sales orders by creating customers (using find-or-create logic), adding the order lines, staging inventory, and fulfilling the orders on the dates you specify. It preserves historical accuracy without affecting your current stock levels. It can also read Shopify order exports and link them as if they were originally imported via Shopify.
How does it work
- Enable Historical Sales Order Import in the Admin Panel.
- Upload a Shopify export or download the historical template.
- Populate order creation dates, delivery dates, customers, and locations.
- Import; the tool creates customers, creates backdated SOs, posts one stock adjustment, and fulfills all orders.
- All historical orders show correct dates and Shopify links (when applicable).
How to get started
- Install the Admin Panel Chrome Extension.
- Enable Historical Import under settings and follow the step-by-step instructions in the extension’s panel.
