    Overview

    This tool simplifies onboarding by letting you bulk-import open sales and purchase orders. Templates include dynamic dropdowns for locations and tax rates. The importer uses find-or-create logic for customers and tax rates to ensure accuracy while minimizing setup work.

    How does it work

    1. Open the Sales or Purchase Orders page in Katana.
    2. Download the open order template from the Admin Panel.
    3. Fill in customer, billing/shipping, products, and line details.
    4. Import the file; the tool maps locations, applies tax logic, and creates all open orders.

    How to get started

    • Install the Admin Panel Chrome Extension.
    • Access the “Open Order Import” option directly on SO/PO pages.
